LHH is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist Near Boynton, FL

Job Description:Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist with a background in construction to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction industry, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Management: Prepare, verify, and process invoices for clients in the construction industry.
  • Collections: Monitor accounts receivable aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, and implement collection procedures.
  • Payment Processing: Record and reconcile payments received, ensuring accurate application to accounts.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate with clients regarding outstanding invoices, payment terms, and account discrepancies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions and client communications.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze accounts receivable reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
  • Dispute Resolution: Address and resolve client disputes and discrepancies promptly and professionally.
  • Compliance: Ensure all accounts receivable activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in the construction industry.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with accounts receivable software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with construction billing processes, lien waivers, and related documentation.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
