Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Management: Prepare, verify, and process invoices for clients in the construction industry.
- Collections: Monitor accounts receivable aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, and implement collection procedures.
- Payment Processing: Record and reconcile payments received, ensuring accurate application to accounts.
- Customer Communication: Communicate with clients regarding outstanding invoices, payment terms, and account discrepancies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions and client communications.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze accounts receivable reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Dispute Resolution: Address and resolve client disputes and discrepancies promptly and professionally.
- Compliance: Ensure all accounts receivable activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in the construction industry.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus.
- Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with accounts receivable software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with construction billing processes, lien waivers, and related documentation.
