Inventory Accountant

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Accountant to support our client's inventory management processes in Emeryville ca! The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing inventory transactions, reconciling inventory records, and ensuring accuracy in inventory valuation. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, disbursements, and adjustments
• Reconcile physical inventory counts with inventory records
• Monitor inventory levels and identify discrepancies or variances
• Assist in the preparation of inventory-related reports and analyses
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation and reporting
• Participate in inventory audits and assist with implementing audit recommendations
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in inventory management
• Provide support for ad-hoc inventory projects and initiatives as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of [Insert Number of Years] years of experience in inventory accounting or related field
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.)

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with inventory audits and compliance preferred

Hourly Pay: $35 - $45 per hour, commensurate with experience

Pay Details: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
