Ultra Motorsports is looking for an Auto Body Technician to join our team! We are a Monday - Friday shop, working 8 AM - 430 PM with some OT available.
Role Description
The Auto Body Technician will be responsible for working on classic and late model cars of our clients, delivering high quality work on auto body repair and improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform auto body repairs and restoration on client vehicles
- Remove, repair, assemble, and replace damaged body parts, including panels, fenders, and doors
- Remove dents, scratches, and other imperfections from vehicle surfaces
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding and priming
- Conduct auto estimating to determine repair costs for customers
- Order parts online as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction
Experience & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Vocational/Technical education preferred
- 3 years as an auto body tech, mechanic, or similar experience
- Knowledge and experience in auto body repair and restoration
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and provide exceptional service
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
