LGC is Hiring a Remote Talent Acquisition Partner

As Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be critical to the success of our HR and recruiting processes. You will be part of a human resources team supporting an organization that has been heavily involved in the fight against COVID-19. We believe in Science for a Safer World and have embodied our mission by supporting first responders during the COVID-19 pandemic where our portfolio has been and continues to be enabling millions of PCR tests worldwide.

Our LGC United States locations represent a focused, collaborative culture of producing mission-critical components for our diverse customer base. We are currently seeking candidates who are up for the challenge of operating in a high-growth, purpose-driven organization.

You will strategically partner and engage with hiring managers providing the right mix of talent attraction and selection strategies to meet each manager’s needs and have demonstrable experience in recruitment activities, driving process improvements and have had exposure to Applicant Tracking Systems. If you have recruitment experience in the life sciences industry, this is highly desirable. You will have minimal supervision and work remotely, so self-motivation and organisation is therefore a must as well as the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with your HR colleagues and recruiting managers of all seniorities.

Qualifications

Experience required

  • 2 years of recruiting experience, prefer recruiting experience in a technical field
  • Experience working with candidate visa programs
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher is helpful, but not required
  • HR / Recruiting certification preferred, but not required

Other skills and abilities:

  • Offer negotiation skills with successful track record of directly sourcing and closing passive candidates. Ability to pre-close a candidate, advocate for competitive offers using multiple strategies – sign-on bonus, relocation, personalized solutions as applicable.
  • Ability to engage and attract all levels of talent including senior roles.
  • Ability to reflect on current openings, highlight and address candidate flow issues, inefficient candidate sources.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to “story-tell” using applicable selection / recruiting data.
  • MS Office, Excel (basic formatting, pivot tables), Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint. ATS / CRM, candidate database experience.
  • Experience with external job boards, resume databases, profile databases.
