Responsibilities

• Routes materials to prescribed storage or work locations.
• Manages all storage areas to include configuration management to maximize space utilization.
• Stores, stacks, or palletizes materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
• Prepares material for shipment to include wrapping, boxing, crate fabrication, strapping and palletizing of material to insure its safe shipment in accordance with commercial packing methods.
• Rearranges and takes inventory of stored materials.
• Examines stored materials and reports deterioration and damage.
• Operates forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of two (2) years of directly related work experience in logistics and materials handling.
• Shall possess and maintain a forklift operator's certification
• Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Must be able to climb stairs with or without assistance and have the physical ability to lift or move electronic equipment weighing up to 51 pounds as well as move, with some assistance, equipment/boxes in excess of 125 pounds.
