Responsibilities

• Develop key financial models
• Maximizes return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
• Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
• Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
• Monitors and confirms financial condistion by conducting internal audits and provides information to external auditors; complies with all audits and company policies
• Maximizes return and limits risk on cash by minimizing bank balances and making investments
• Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and conslidating financial data; recommends plans
• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
• Provides assistance and recommendations wtih cost and pricing
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studing existing and new legislation, anticipaing future legislation, enforcing adhereance to requirements, filing financial reports, and aadvising managmen3t on needed actions
• Participate in the creation of company policies for great financial health
• Manage company cash flows
• Maintains strong understanding of fiscal policy
• Create usable budgets for the business, including evaluating the needs of each department in the long term
• Offer advice and assistance to the CEO / CFO regarding spending and budget matters
• Oversee leaders in the finance and accounting departments, including giving directions and delivering aperiodic evaluations
