LG Electronics USA Inc is Hiring a Director, Sales, Home Entertainment Near Minneapolis, MN

That is why we are currently seeking the newest innovator to join our Home Entertainment Team as a Director of Sales, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is currently an in-office position.

Position Summary:

As a Director, Sales in our Home Entertainment division you will develop strategies and inspire a team of sales managers to successfully sell our products and services through our retail sales channel.You will utilize your expertise in business proposals and negotiations to maximize customer orders and meet business sales goals.

You will utilize effective communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders, and relevant internal teams such as marketing, supply chain and legal. Through accurate forecasting, you will also ensure that purchasing orders and inventory control are monitored and reported on, as required.

To be successful in this role you will also:

  • Partner with your sales team to drive successful customer relationships and analyze sales performance while you ensure operational excellence is achieved.
  • Apply leadership skills to drive performance management including training, coaching and development of your team.
  • Utilize your expertise in business proposals and negotiation of pricing to meet sales targets.
  • Create metrics and reports to monitor and analyze sales progress and timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Proven success leading sales teams for related products, accounts and customers, 10 years of overall sales experience preferred.
  • Background that includes strength in utilizing data-driven, strategic sales decision-making to predict trends and forecast future performance.
  • Advanced active listening skills and proven ability to customize sales pitches and convert customers.
  • History of success in optimizing sales processes and integrating them with our companies’ complex workflows and systems.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate sales teams to achieve and overcome obstacles.
  • Proven relationship building, executive presentation skills and solid business acumen with a background that includes thought leadership in relevant areas.
  • Bachelor’s degree
