Essential Functions:

· Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.

· Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair.

· Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.

· Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.

· Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.

· Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.

· Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.

Education & Experience:

· High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.

· Need to earn the certification relevant to Manufacturer on a yearly basis.

· Basic knowledge of vehicle preventive maintenance.

· Basic knowledge of internet software and order processing system.

· Must have a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record which shall be reviewed by Human Resources as needed.

· Previous customer service experience preferred.

· ASE / T-Ten / Factory / Brand Certifications preferred.

· Automotive repair experience.

· Dealership experience preferred.

*Two(2) years of automotive mechanical experience or automotive trade school

*Certification is preferred

*Valid driver’s license and good driving record

*Pass a criminal background check and drug test

*Be authorized to work in the United States
