JOB DESCRIPTION :

Lexington Sporting Club is a professional soccer club with a men’s team competing in USL League One and a women’s team set to launch in August of 2024.

In addition to the professional teams, Lexington Sporting Club is comprised of a youth club with over 1,000 players within its youth and academy systems, a pre-professional women’s team in the USL W League, two indoor soccer facilities, a $20 million soccer complex, and a soccer-specific stadium and performance facility coming in 2024.

The club is a community-oriented organization focused on providing opportunities for youth development, fostering competition, and delivering exceptional professional soccer experiences.

Reporting to : Chief Marketing Officer / Director of Partnerships

JOB SUMMARY :

Looking for a talented, intelligent, passionate, and driven Partnership Services Coordinator to join our team. Under general direction and supervision of the CMO / Director of Partnerships, he / she will be responsible managing a selection of commercial partners and be responsible for the success of these partnerships, including developing the partnership strategy and campaigns, managing stakeholder relationships, reporting and renewals.

He / she will understand each partner’s business and objectives and help them understand how best to leverage their partnership assets to realize their goals.

The Partnership Services Coordinator must collaborate well cross-functionally and with stakeholders of all levels, to develop and execute compelling campaigns for partners.

The Partner Services Coordinator will develop an understanding of the club’s partnership opportunities and will manage the fulfillment of partnership assets from initial placement to paid invoice.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Lead as the key contact point for partners to manage and deliver their sponsorship assets in line with their business objectives, ensuring all contractual rights are delivered to the highest standard.
  • Analyze each client’s pain points, preferences and likelihood to renew
  • Develop relationship with all club corporate partners
  • Schedule and lead regular status calls and client meetings
  • Establish standard operating procedures for communication between these partners and the club
  • Analyze customer profiles to deliver customer preferences and individual needs
  • Work closely with the other departments in the organization to deliver the assets for corporate partner events
  • Work with the Director of Partnerships to fulfill customer expectations and deliverables
  • Work with Finance to facilitate payments when necessary, as well as to flag potential financial issues.
  • Manage a service internship team while creating, presenting and executing a strong strategic vision
  • Execute new strategic vision for customer service based on trends in the industry

Preferred Knowledge / Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University required
  • 2-3 years of sales / customer service experience with a pro team, stadium, arena, or sports property
  • Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications required
  • Knowledge of ticketing and CRM systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Effective time management skills
  • Team oriented and self-motivated
  • Natural aggressive style and positive attitude
  • Superior presentation skills
