Lexington Property Group is looking for multiple Pool Attendant at locations in Poughkeepsie and Hyde Park.

• Must be CPR certified with appropriate certification.

Pool attendants will check all incoming pool passes, monitor guest access and promote water safety via the community and BOH rules and regulations. Pool attendants will also be responsible for routine custodial duties and chemical checks.

• Pool Attendants Needed from Memorial Day, weekends only until June 30 when pool will open 7 days per week through Labor Day.
• Shifts are Monday - Friday, 12pm to 8pm and Saturday, Sunday & Holidays 10am to 8pm, full-time and part-time available.

Responsibilities:

• Reports any incident or accident to the Community Manager on duty as well as noting log book.
• Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency
• Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe environment, including, but not limited, to the restrooms, pool deck and water slide, if applicable
• Check to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly
• Provides general cleaning to pool deck, restructure of chairs & lounges
• Acknowledge all guests and oversee sign in / pool pass check
• Follows the daily opening and closing procedures when scheduled
• Maintain hourly attendance records while on duty
• Enforce the rules and regulations of the community facility
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be CPR certified
• Drivers License
• Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions
• Ability to express an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude while being firm on protocol
• The nature of the work requires the employee to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Move, lift, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
