SUMMARY:

The Senior Director of Patient Access & Operations Support has the primary responsibility for the development and oversight of Patient Access services, including the patient access call center, patient registration, clinical education & training, employee health and other centralized operational support services. The Senior Director is responsible for budgets and oversight of all activities assigned departments. The Senior Director is a highly visible position that will work with managers, staff and providers to provide the highest customer service and satisfaction for patients as well as meet the corporate objectives of Lexington Clinic. The Senior Director reports directly to the COO – Medicine Services but collaborates regularly with the Senior Director of Patient Financial Services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BA or BS degree required; Master’s degree preferred; 5-7 years previous experience in clinical operations, call center operations or other applicable physician practice management and supervision; proven leadership; strong business skills; demonstrated ability to organize, communicate effectively and shape work place attitudes; ability to share ideas effectively with others and in group situations; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to interact with people diplomatically; demonstrated ability to make appropriate decisions in the absence of instructions.

PHYSICAL GUIDELINES:

Physical guidelines include the ability to move, traverse, position self, remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per day.
