SUMMARY

The Business Office Data Coordinator produces carrier payment and performance monitoring reports; reviews and audits for accuracy the

data produced; interprets and applies knowledge of patient account functions to produce optimal and accurate reporting; communicates and works with Business office management, staff and the payor transformation team;

Assists in report development and back-up, assists in task

queues and work-lists. Develops and implements new reporting tools as necessary; establishes, implements and monitors quality control procedures;

generates reports in a timely and accurate manner, .

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Formal training which will probably be indicated by a high school diploma or equivalent; two years in the health care field with

• specific responsibilities in reporting tools and extensive data management experience; knowledge of carrier contracts and fee schedules;
• excellent judgement; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; planning, organization, work-flow management, and evaluation skills;

flexibility in problem-solving and developing programs.

PHYSICAL GUIDELINES :

Physical guidelines include the ability to move, traverse, position self, remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per day;

visual and auditory acuity; manual dexterity and motor coordination; mobility.
