SUMMARY:
The Clinical Assistant performs various patient-oriented duties such as: greeting patients, rooming/intake, chart prep, inbox, preauthorizations, scheduling, room set up etc.; maintains a positive relationship with patients, family members, visitors, fellow employees, and providers; performs technical and clerical procedures associated with routine office visits.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent; CPR certification; bright; personable; dependable; desires to work with the public; ability to maintain composure when confronted with fast-paced and stressful situations; neat in appearance; excellent communication skills; desire and ability to provide excellent patient care.
PHYSICAL GUIDELINES:
Physical guidelines include the ability to move, traverse, position self, remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per day; lift, move and transport patients, equipment and supplies; motor coordination and manual dexterity; articulate speech; ability to read and understand orders;
