Lexington Christian Academy currently seeks specialists for the Academy Support Team. The AST provides class coverage for teacher absences, other teacher duty coverages, and project work as needed to support the academic program at LCA. 

Candidates for this position should be:

• Excited about working with teenagers
• Happy and positive in their dealings with others
• Good listeners who desire to help students solve problems
• Respected and trusted by students and parents
• Comfortable around educational technology

QUALIFICATIONS

• EDUCATION: A bachelor's degree is preferred but not necessary. 
• EXPERIENCE: Careful consideration will be given to applicants who have experience in educational support roles or classroom teaching.
• SPIRITUAL MATURITY: As LCA is strongly committed to the historic Christian faith, we expect candidates will subscribe to the Academy’s Statement of Faith, Standards for Christian Living and be active participants in a Christian congregation.
