WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM LABORER FOR THE LEWISTON ORCHARDS IRRIGATION DISTRICT
The Lewiston Orchards Irrigation District (LOID) is accepting applications for the position of Water Distribution System Laborer. This full time position may include pipeline construction, operation of heavy equipment, and general labor duties. A Level 1 Idaho Water Certification is preferred. The preferred candidates will have had experience working in an outdoor construction type environment, be able to learn about the LOID processes, safety procedures, installation techniques and equipment use. Experience in construction, concrete work, asphalt maintenance, traffic flagging, and pipeline construction a plus. LOID provides an excellent benefit package including medical, pension, life insurance, dental, short-term disability, paid holidays, vacations and sick leave. A valid Idaho driver’s license, background check, drug screen and the ability to be insured by the LOID’s liability carrier are also requirements for employment.
