Lewis-Palmer Elementary School Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for a part-time Band Teacher at Lewis-Palmer Elementary School beginning with the 2022-23 school year. This is a 0.5 postion, split over 5 days, which could be increased based on district needs. Must be able to teach woodwind and brass instruments to elementary aged students. Must have, or be eligible to receive a Colorado Teaching License with appropriate endorsement. Candidates with professional experience may qualify for a license based on their work history. Must have the ability to deliver a comprehensive band program, have the ability to integrate curriculum into instruction, and collaborate with classroom teachers. Previous experience preferred. Exact placement on the salary schedule can only be determined by the Chief Human Resources Officer upon contracting. As a guideline, we offer up to 9 years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 10, per school board policy. This salary range is $38,830 (Level 1, Step 2) up to $56,178 (Level 10, Step 10) dependent on education and experience levels. • Newly hired licensed employees will receive a bonus of $1,250 in their August check.

Full-time employees, employed at least thirty hours per week, of Lewis-Palmer School District are eligible for health insurance plans that include medical, dental, vision, and a life insurance. Lewis-Palmer does provide one plan that is of no cost to the individual.
