Lewis Apartment Communities currently seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a community mixed with apartments and duplexes. This community is 300 units, located in Vacaville, CA.  

The right candidate should have a strong proven supervisory background including team development along with strong experience in all aspects of general residential maintenance including: 

• Management of Maintenance and Grounds staff
• Strong all-around maintenance skills in the apartment industry
• Experience in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and appliance (dishwashers, washers/dryers, etc) installation and repair
• Making ready units for new occupancy
• Interaction with the community manager and staff
• Walking property with the community manager
• Maintaining units of current residents
• Managing/negotiating with outside vendors
• Maintaining the leasing office and all recreation facilities
• Requires reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Other requirements include: 

• Moving and transporting heavy objects, as needed
• Bending/stooping/walking repeatedly over time and throughout your community.
• Ascend/descend stairs and ladders as required.
• Ability to exchange information and communicate with Company employees and the general public by speaking/reading/writing English. 

YOUR SALARY & PERKS: Hourly salary for this role starts at $30 per hour or more, depending on experience, plus an annual bonus and annual raise eligibility.
