COMMUNITY DIRECTOR - Sacramento, CALewis Apartment Communities, a division of one of the largest Real Estate developers in the nation, has an immediate opening for an experienced community director for, Evergreen Park, a beautiful 256-homeLewis-owned apartment community, located in Sacramento, CA.
YOU'RE THE LEADER of a GREAT TEAM

As our successful Community Director candidate, you will effectively create marketing and management programs to maintain optimum occupancy levels, income, staff supervision, property value, community maintenance and excellent customer service in this large, Lewis community.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Consistent management of your Leasing, Maintenance, and Grounds-keeping staff
  • Managing financial performance, monitoring budgets, and partnering with corporate on community marketing
  • Hiring, motivating, monitoring, and rewarding your team
  • Managing a variety of reports, variances, occupancy reporting, sales processes, etc.
  • Walking your community regularly to ensure asset preservation, safety, curb appeal and resident satisfaction
  • Monitoring any outside vendors (landscaping, painting, etc.)
  • Working with MS Office (Word, Excel), OneSite and other property management software
  • Note: These responsibilities are a general summary of the job duties performed. Other duties may be required, as needed.

To be successful, you should have strong experience in apartment community management, preferable 5 years or more. Your career should also include successful team management skills in a mid-unit, large staff community environment.

Understanding of landlord and tenant law, Fair Housing, and MS Office is required and your management background should include all aspects of operations and staff management, including budgets, coaching, marketing, vendor relations, etc.
