As a team member of Lewis Funeral Chapel and The Stone Chapel Poulsbo Mortuary, there are many daily expectations that are important to meet. The following are some of our standard expectations:
Maintain after hours on-call availability as needed in a rotating schedule
Remove human remains from place of death
Deliver or receive human remains to or from Seatac International Airport
Employ standard precautions to prevent pathogen contamination
Log information on any new case in all appropriate areas
Will drive removal call van to the place of death
Will place decedent(s) in controlled temperature refrigeration
Will identify human remains with yellow or white bracelet
Will affix the yellow or white bracelet on the ankle of the decedent
Able to lift/slide a minimum of 10-200 pounds at any given time
