Job Responsibilities:
Prepare painting surfaces by cleaning walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint.
Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
Ensure that all painting work meets quality standards and client specifications.
Protect furniture, floors, and other surfaces from paint drips or spills.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a painter, preferably in residential or commercial settings.
Proficiency in preparing surfaces and applying various types of paint.
Knowledge of painting tools, equipment, and techniques.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification or training in painting or related field.
Experience with decorative painting techniques or specialty finishes.
Familiarity with Sherwin Williams painting products.
