Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles and possesses excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and record financial transactions, including journal entries, invoices, and payments
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Maintain general ledger accounts and entering/keeping track of expenses
- Process Payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Generate financial reports and analyze data for management review
- Issue checks for the office

Skills:
- Solid understanding of accounting practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Sage) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
- Knowledge of governmental, public, corporate, and technical accounting
- Experience with payroll processing
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
