Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately processing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery of products, and maintaining inventory records. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and possess strong communication skills. Must be able to work without using your cell phone.

Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against purchase orders or invoices
- Inspect packages for damage and report any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel
- Unload, unpack, and stock items in designated storage areas
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently using AS400 or other warehouse management systems
- Prepare shipping labels, documentation, and necessary paperwork for outgoing shipments able to use and read tape measure and corrugated box experience.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries
- Operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed
- Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies
- Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and free from safety hazards

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role preferred
- Proficient in using AS400 or similar warehouse management systems
- Familiarity with order picking, packing, and stock replenishment processes
- Ability to operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
