Job Title: Registered Nurse - OB/GYN
Hours: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Weekdays, some Weekends
Location: Omak, WA 98841
Travel Nurse Rate: $2,782 at 36H, $3,862 at 48H ($45/Hour $1,162 Weekly Stipend)
Local Nurse Rate: $76/Hour

General Purpose:
Assumes responsibility and accountability for the nursing assessment and primary care for a selected population of patients within the OB/GYN specialty, operating within the scope of experience and training in the inpatient setting of a critical access hospital. Performs acts requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills based on principles of psychological, biological, physical, and social sciences. Functions under a collaborative practice agreement for delegated medical aspects of care with collaborating physicians. Maintains licensure and certification.
Essential Functions:
Provides anticipatory guidance, screening, and health education to patients.
Initiates treatment for patients with commonly occurring health problems within the nurse specialist's scope of practice.
Performs comprehensive health assessments, including obtaining accurate health history and physical examination.
Orders/Performs selected diagnostic tests and procedures as indicated.
Interprets clinical findings and develops complete, accurate differential diagnoses/health care problems list.
Identifies and uses available resources to meet healthcare and health education needs of patients.
Plans appropriate care utilizing community resources and acts as a liaison for continuity of care.
Prescribes, coordinates, delegates, and evaluates care.
Participates in Quality Assurance activities and research projects.
Instructs individuals, families, or groups about health or defined health problems.
Maintains documentation standards and professionalism in appearance and environment.
