Levare U.S., Inc. is Hiring a CAD Designer Drafter II Near Tulsa, OK

Position Summary

Collaborate with engineers to create electro-mechanical product designs and technical documentation needed for concepts, prototypes, fabrication, production and support. This includes creating drawings, models and assemblies of structures, systems, components or equipment from sketches or marked up prints.

Job Functions/ Duties (may be assigned other duties by management)

§ Perform CAD design work using Creo (Pro-E) and Windchill PDMlink database

§ Prepare models and detail drawings from sketches, redlines and engineering notes (Drawings will be laid out well, clear and contain necessary specifications, dimensions and notes for manufacturing purposes. Drawings require minimal review.)

§ Ensure form, fit and function of new and existing designs. Perform typical tolerance stack up analysis

§ Calculate and lay out dimensions, angles, curvature of parts, materials to be used, relationship of one part to another, and relationship of various parts, utilizing knowledge of engineering practices, mathematics, materials, production technology, and related physical sciences

§ Complete Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) including BOM, model and drawings (from, but not limited to, drawings based on sketches, notes, marked up drawings, and verbal instruction)

§ Complete complex revisions produced from sketches or specifications that clearly depict the desired product

§ Work with engineers, technicians, product managers and administrative personnel to accomplish assigned tasks

§ Use fundamental design tools such as threaded connections, seals, plated surfaces, heat treating, etc.

§ Understand the key limitations and advantages to manufacturing the product in different manners

§ Interpret and use ANSI drafting standards and GD&T

§ Review work to ensure accuracy and completeness

§ Provide guidance and/or training to other drafters as requested

§ Work independently with minimal supervision, as well as, work in a team environment (Supervisor provides minimal instructions on new assignments, gives guidance when questions arise, and provides limited reviews on completed work.)

§ Personally observe safety and security procedures and proper use of equipment and material. Actively promote safety processes and report any safety issues.

§ Perform other job-related tasks as identified by supervisor

Qualifications and Required Skills

§ Associates degree in Design/Drafting or completion of Engineering Technology trade school or a related field

§ Five years related work experience with 3D CAD design or equivalent professional training (preferably Creo (Pro-E), SolidWorks, AutoCAD Inventor)

§ Knowledge of fundamental design tools

§ Working experience with GD&T standard ASME Y14.5

§ Expert solid modeling skills using PTC-Creo

§ Proficient knowledge of using PTC-Windchill

§ Experience in product design and the engineering change/revision process

§ Proficient computer skills (MS Office, E-Mail, and Internet)

§ Strong written and verbal communication skills

§ Good analytical skills

§ Ability to meet deadlines

§ Excellent attention to details

§ Experience and ability to handle multiple projects, simultaneously, with stringent deadlines

§ Experience working in an environment that requires flexibility, innovation, superb customer service and organization skills

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

§ Normal office environment and occasional exposure to plant environment during the course of normal job duties

§ Occasionally required to move about the facility

§ Use of appropriate PPE, including eye and hearing protection, hard hat and safety shoes while in shop environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
