Overview:

We are seeking Private Piano Instructors to join our team. Also interviewing Violin and Strings instructors. The ideal candidates will have experience in music but more than anything we are looking for teachers who are passionate about connecting with others and have a desire to grow personally and professionally. If you have a knack for educating and inspiring students, we want to hear from you.

Duties:

- Develop and deliver engaging piano lessons, covering elements of music theory, technique, and performance with students each week
- Utilize effective schedule management techniques to create a consistent, positive learning environment while traveling to and from to teach in the homes of students on a weekly basis
- Develop a 3 Song Repertoire with each student over time to foster a musical identity

Requirements:

- Previous experience working with students in educational settings is a plus… If no prior experience, must be teachable and open to training and development workshops to bolster skills and confidence
- Proficiency in at least one of the following areas: Piano, Music Theory, Lesson Planning, or Private Instruction
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to tailor teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Background in Childcare, Tutoring, or related fields is a plus
- Must be able to read sheet music

Pay: $50.00 per hour
