Lessons In Your Home, D.C. is Hiring a Piano Teacher, Guitar Teacher, Violin Teacher Needed! Near Takoma Park, MD

Teach In Home Lessons with a school RUN by experienced Music Educators who know the business! Lessons In Your Home (LIYH) serves both music teachers and students by curating successful, long-term teaching relationships. No exclusivity required.

We have immediate need for private Piano, Guitar, Voice, and Violin Teachers in all areas of the DMV. NoVA, DC, MD - you set the radius. Build any size studio quickly AND in good locations. **All instruments welcome.

We are seeking degreed and professional musicians for our staff. We teach with a Traditional Methodology (i.e. – we use music notation). Positive reinforcement, goal oriented lessons, and connection with students are important values in our school. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Music required. **Exception - Music notation-literate to a professional level.

Who are LIYH teachers?

-Recent Music School Graduates – new, or early in teaching

-Experienced Instructors with some days and openings to fill

-Professional Musicians who are new to the area and need a student base

-Degreed Musicians who work in another field, but want to stay active with teaching

-Retired Music Educators who are ready to build a teaching studio

Our requirements: Applicants must…

-Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, or greater

-Have a reliable vehicle to travel to and from lessons

-Teach in students’ homes at a consistent weekly day and time

-Be a US Citizen or have permanent resident status (no visas, or sponsorship)

-Be ready to commit at least 1 year to new students
