Leslie Frank Staging & Design (LFSD) is a family-owned business that provides home staging, interior design, furniture sales, and marketing services to homeowners, home sellers, realtors, and builders who want their property to receive a quick offer and higher sale price. We create custom designs to highlight the home's selling features and deploy furnishings from our warehouse to furnish the home.

JOB SUMMARY

The Lead Mover/Driver plays a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of staging furnishings to and from clients’ homes and maintaining the warehouse. This includes minor repairs to furnishings as required and other duties supporting LFSD business operations and strategic goals. The role requires physical strength and endurance, with repetitive standing, lifting, walking, bending and pivoting while carrying heavy items (70 lbs. or more).

The Lead Mover/Driver is sometimes the first point of contact for clients on staging day, so a friendly, professional appearance and good communication skills are critical.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

ATTITUDE & DEPORTMENT

· Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal (bi-lingual in Spanish a plus).

· Provide positive energy and top-notch customer service.

· Reliable, accountable, and self-sufficient.

· Able to perform calmly and effectively under the pressure of deadlines and schedules.

DRIVING & MOVING

· Drivers are the move team leader for the job. They must ensure that helpers are working safely and efficiently and maintain professionalism in appearance and conduct.

· Make deliveries and pick-up staging furniture in clients’ homes and vendor locations throughout the Houston metro area.

· Safely operate a 26-foot moving truck in Houston traffic and maneuver in narrow streets.

· Load and unload furnishings from the truck; pack and secure furnishings, art & décor to avoid breakage in transport.

· Check in regularly throughout the day for additional assignments and troubleshooting guidance.

· Perform basic assembly and disassembly of beds, tables, etc., to set up in client’s homes and for transport to and from the warehouse.

· Hang or remove art in designated locations and repair any wall damage.

· Give and receive detailed driving directions to locations.

· Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service and repair status.

WAREHOUSE MAINTENANCE

· Ensure staging furniture inventory is stored in designated areas.

· Perform minor repairs to furniture inventory as required.

· Ensure supplies, tools & equipment are in stock, properly stored, and in good condition.

· To maintain a tidy and safe work environment, Perform sweeping, dusting, mopping, and emptying trash.

· Work SAFELY at all times. Follows internal policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

· Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Have 2 years of relevant work experience in the abovementioned job responsibilities.

· MUST be eligible to work in the United States.

· MUST have and maintain a valid driver’s license (CDL not required).

· MUST have reliable transportation to & from work.

· MUST be drug and alcohol-free on the job.

· MUST be able to pass a federal background check and drug screen.

· Ability to use logic and reasoning in unexpected situations and recommend an efficient solution.

OTHER INFORMATION

We are a drug-free environment. All applicants considered for employment must pass a pre-employment drug screening before beginning work and submit to random drug testing on request.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
