Shipping and Receiving Coordinator Pompano Beach Florida

This is a direct hire opportunity with an aerospace supplier. This role is for a small facility and you will be the only one in the shipping department.

What you will be doing :

Handle and manage inventory within a warehouse or distribution center.

Receive, inspect, and store incoming metals or products. This includes properly labeling and organizing items, recording inventory data, and updating inventory systems.

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to specific requirements. This involves locating items in the warehouse, ensuring accuracy in product selection, and preparing packages for delivery

Inspect products for damage, defects, or discrepancies and reporting any issues to supervisors or relevant departments.

Load and unload goods onto trucks, pallets, or containers. Operating equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, or conveyor systems may be necessary.

Must have experience working with metals

3 plus years of experience

Shipping or warehouse experience

Preferred :

Hi Lo Certification or experience

Experience with metal cutting
