Summary Description:The Maintenance Dept Clerk is responsible for supporting the Maintenance Team. The main focus of the position is to build Maintenance infrastructure and help facilitate daily operations.

Job Description

• Works independently, with maintenance manager II to support maintenance operations.
• Work with vendor to get parts quotes, create a vendor quote database for future purchases
• Order the parts against the work orders and utilize SAP to track on AWP revision
• Work with maintenance management on material entry for all spares; includes vendor quotes, entry forms, and validation when parts are on site
• Assist whey maintenance management with annual services scheduling.
• Work with maintenance management, production management, and area maintenance techs to enter missing equipment into SAP and update existing equipment; create cross reference charts to ID equipment
• Work with maintenance management, production management, and area maintenance techs to data enter BOM’s for equipment into SAP.
• Work with maintenance management, production management, and area maintenance techs to update PM’s in SAP
• Attend meeting as assigned by Maintenance Manager; gather meeting materials, reserve rooms, and log meeting notes and provide reports when asked
• Create variants, enter equipment, notifications, functional locations, and any other function directly related to (PM) Plant Maintenance and (MM) Materials Management (Continuous Improvement)
• Schedule training (hearing exams, etc) and maintain training records for tech team (LMS and non LMS)
• Work with contractors to ensure permits and trainings are completed and database is up to date.
• Generate and update multiple reports, logs, and database.
• Other duties as assigned.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

• 1-2 years previous experience in a clerical role within a mechanical, parts, procurement /food manufacturing environment preferred
• Professional demeanor for employee and management interactions and problem solving
• Advanced software skills in Excel such as charts, graphs, reports, create pivot tables and SAP.
• Must be organized, able to work independently, and able to multi-task
• Must be flexible with daily workload and direction setting.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities/Competencies:

• Computer literacy. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SAP, MS Word Applications, E-mail, and Typing Skills min.
• Knowledgeable of food safety expectations.
• Knowledge of sanitary GMPs.
• Ability to make decisions independently in a stressful environment.
• Has excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and deliver on deadlines.

Working Relationships:

• This position reports to the Maintenance II Manager
