Lepley Recruiting Services is Hiring a Branch Manager Near Dallas, TX

Lepley Recruiting Services is looking for a Branch Manager for the Dallas locations for a nation-wide luxury Tile and Stone Retailer and Distributor.  This person would be key at building relationships with staff and clients, developing business strategies to meet company goals, and overseeing the branch’s financial development. The company connects its clients with high-end tile and slab materials, all while providing a top-tier customer experience, so this role will oversee the successful running of the showroom and coordination with the warehouses.

The company believes in growing and developing our internal talent, so the Branch Manager will collaborate with leadership to execute the strategy designed to achieve our results, all while mentoring the team to promote individual growth and develop exceptional bench strength.

  1. Sales Management and Personnel Development
  • Implements and directs activities to drive achievement of financial goals.
  • Is closely involved and aware of all sales operations within the Branch. Can present results to General Manager and team.
  • Supports development of strategic sales goals.
  • Works closely with team members to help achieve their personal sales goals and to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensures the team fully utilizes company CRM technologies.
  • Promotes Company Training initiatives through consistent discussion and direction.
  • Assists with the recruitment and on-boarding strategy for the branch.
  • Provides timely, consistent performance appraisals of all Branch team members.
  • Partners with HR for the hiring and termination of Branch employees.
  • Assesses and delivers a quarterly self-evaluation of results and performance.
  1. Marketing
  • Works closely with Marketing Department to develop and execute local marketing strategies.
  • Strives to be the Walker Zanger Brand Ambassador in the local market, develops relationships with key influencers, and regularly attends openings, trade events and trade shows.
  • Develops and maintains knowledge of competitors pricing structures, marketing and employee compensation
  1. Inventory Management
  • Ensures all inventory is properly displayed and maintained according to brand standards.
  • Communicates with Product Team to ensure awareness of client preferences and requests.
  • Ensures the branch has the right product, in the right place, at the right time, at the right price.
  • Ensures the team is aware of new product releases and well trained in Product Knowledge.
  1. Profitability
  • Maximizes Branch profitability while achieving sales expectations.
  • Utilizes strategic scheduling and personnel combinations to enhance profitability.
  • Effectively manages all store expenses, personnel budgets, and other P&L activity.
  • Instills a sense of profit responsibility within the team and when to offer price adjustments.
  • Maintains proper balance between sales production and compensation.
  • Ensures team follows up on opportunities to maximize income within the Branch.
  • Safeguards company assets and holds others accountable to do the same.
  1. Strategic Planning
  • Works with team to develop and execute the Branch’s short-, mid- and long-term strategy.
  • Enlists the team to create and maintain the Branch’s vision.
  • Participates as a member of the Company Strategic Planning team.
  1. Operations
  • Directs all branch activities and is focused on meeting or exceeding the financial objectives.
  • Prepares and maintains all required paperwork in a timely manner including appropriate accessibility of
  • showroom display records.
  • Ensures Branch appearance is maintained in accordance with Company standards.
  • Works with Facilities Department on display changes, gets bids and places orders with local vendors, insures proper installation.
  • Partners with distribution center on inventory and ensures area is ready for customer viewings
  • Organizes product transfers and coordinates staging during display change outs.
  • Ensures a constant awareness of safety and security standards.
  • Works to maximize employee satisfaction and control retention levels
  • Ensures receipt and placement of new showroom display product as directed by Facilities Department and Sample Department.
