Leopardo Construction is growing and looking for a marketing coordinator to join the team!
The marketing coordinator supports and fulfills marketing initiatives at Leopardo by providing compelling written content tailored to different audiences and mediums, which may include qualification packages and proposals, press releases, website copy, as well as other communication. This role partners with Leopardo's full-service and integrated in-house marketing department to deliver traditional and cutting-edge materials and messaging for the company. The marketing coordinator also collaborates with other company stakeholders to accomplish initiatives such as crafting thought leadership pieces and blog posts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Write clear, concise, and engaging copy for various marketing materials, including websites, press releases, blog articles, email campaigns, advertisements, project case studies and other pursuit materials such as presentations.
  • Work with Leopardo's subject matter experts to gather technical information and translate complex concepts into compelling story content.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and messaging strategies that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
  • Proactively collect content for storytelling efforts and work with the Senior Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Manager to adapt content for video and social media.
  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
  • Optimize content for SEO to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
  • Conduct research to understand target audiences, market trends, competitive landscapes, and use insights to inform content development.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in copywriting, digital marketing, and content strategy.
Education / Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a copywriter, content writer or proposal coordinator, with a strong portfolio of published work demonstrating creativity, versatility, and storytelling ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in document authoring tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and InDesign.
  • Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure.
