Position Summary:
LEO is seeking a talented, resourceful, creative individual with a proven and growing passion for the power of a well-told story to join our team as Brand Journalist.
This role is primarily responsible for crafting compelling narratives, creating engaging content, and driving brand awareness within the event marketing industry – working frequently and closely with company leaders to develop material that aligns with and promotes LEO’s internal and external business development, marketing, and social responsibility objectives.
LEO is a leading experiential agency for events that combine the most compelling and memorable elements of live engagement – spectacle, storytelling, and human connection. We envision, design, and produce live events, content, and entertainment for the biggest brands in the world. Our work – and therefore the work of our Brand Journalist – must be diverse, colorful, emotional, exciting, and spans multiple industries, environments, and locales.
LEO’s Brand Journalist will be the in-house, go-to resource whenever, wherever and however our agency expresses ourselves.
The right candidate is a tireless self-starter, driven by love of language and stories to research, write, and rewrite, every single workday. You produce work quickly, easily manage and integrate feedback, and you do not merely meet deadlines, you relish them.
How you work is more important than where you work. We welcome remote, in-office, or hybrid-work candidates. LEO has employees across all contiguous US time zones and maintains offices in Memphis, Nashville, Chattanooga (TN) and Asheville (NC).
You do not need to have deep knowledge of the events and experiential industry on Day 1, but you will be expected to learn it fast, and love it when you do.

Employee is required to spend a portion of time in a seated position looking at a computer screen. Employee is required to do some standing and walking. Employee will work in a well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
Must be able to bend and lift at least 25 pounds.
