Job Description:

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As an Event Planner, you will be pivotal in driving the strategy and execution of Lennox Commercial's events throughout the year. These events include National Sales Meetings of 300 people, customer business meetings, international incentive trips, national tradeshows, and many more! Working alongside a team of marketing professionals, you will be responsible for managing complex events from conception to completion, demonstrating exceptional organizational and leadership abilities. As an Event Planner, you will oversee large-scale events, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure the seamless execution of all event details.

Responsibilities:

  • Under general direction, coordinates planning, set-up and management of organization-sponsored events such as meetings, conferences and incentive trips.
  • Conferring with vendors, clients, and guest to coordinate all of the materials and details that may impact the conferences and events.
  • Responsible for all amenities and accommodations at the event as well as any associated contract negotiations.
  • Conducts on-site inspections to ensure event requirements are met.
  • Arrange audiovisual equipment, transportation and other event needs.
  • Collaborating internally and externally to assess client needs and requirements in order to determine the best logistical course of action.
  • Researching, recommending, and critically inspecting event facilities to ensure they meet the needs of the client, align with the objectives of the event, and meet a high standard of quality.
  • Collaborate with third-party event management firms to staff and execute incentive trips and business meetings
  • Collaborates with sourcing team to contract events and negotiate terms
  • Establishes strong working relationships with peer business units to execute
  • Lead the annual event strategy process to ensure event plans are aligned with business objectives
  • Document processes and execute improvements to improve efficiency and customer experience
  • Manage event budget across the marketing and sales teams
  • Create processes to measure and improve event ROI

Qualifications:

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 5 years related experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Proven ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously.
  • Excellent orientation to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize activities.

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $75k - $85k and will be based on the candidates qualification, experience, and education.
