Field Verification Technician Summary : Entry level position responsible for managing all activities involved with field verification and materials management.

Provide material quantity estimates for assigned categories. Responsibilities Verify take-offs / SIMS against materials delivered and installed across all categories at the home site.

Works with Trade Partners, Construction Team, and Purchasing Team through scheduled meetings and field validation walks.

Validates the materials being delivered are being used in the correct way (specifically lumber). Monitor material usage (and manufacturers) in the field for overages / shortages to update / correct material take-offs / SIMS.

Record and analyze take-off / SIMS data from counts in the communities / homes. Assist division team with plan value engineering.

Provide updated field quantities to correct plan and purchase order issues. Utilize required tools / forms to present field verification findings to division teams.

Perform all other duties as required. Qualifications One (1) year of experience in residential construction preferred High School Diploma of GED required Valid Driver’s License required Experienced with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other software systems Some JD Edwards knowledge a plus Familiarity with reading and understanding residential blue prints is preferred Knowledge of common construction practices preferred Ability to perform several tasks efficiently under tight deadlines Detail oriented, energetic, and hard-working personality Physical Requirements : Requires the ability to work in a confined quarters of a construction trailer, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs, climb ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds, occasionally operate construction equipment.

Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. FLSA Status : Non-Exempt Life at Lennar : Lennar recognizes our associates are the heart of the company’s success.
