JOB SUMMARY: As a member of the field leadership team, you will focus on providing overall leadership, supervision, and technical management to subcontractors/trades and their foreman. You will get to provide them direction in planning, coordinating, and executing the work onsite safely, timely, within budget and to quality standards. Note: This role will be on a Hospital Site in Washington Heights ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: This is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. It is not intended to be a complete list of all required. Maintain a robust understanding of Lendlease's safety requirements. Hold trades/subcontractors accountable, and assist them perform within those requirements through pre-task planning, monitoring construction site activities and conditions, taking immediate corrective actions to non-compliant work. Help drive Lendlease's strong safety culture on a daily basis. Develop a thorough knowledge of the project's plans and specifications. Continually review and bring forth to address any anticipated issues. Consistently observe, inspect, and test the quality of work in progress to ensure work is delivered to quality expectations and rework minimized. Diligent documentation through photos and inspections of project quality through all phases of the project. Maintain detailed daily reports reviewing all works installed, documenting important conversations/inspections, manpower counts, quality/safety observations, and site cleanliness. Monitor resources (including manpower, materials, and temporary works) daily against the project plan. Assist in developing and maintaining the project schedule. Ensure work progresses in compliance with the schedule and collaborate to resequence work when needed to make up lost time. Clearly communicate the sequence and schedule updates to subcontractors and vendors, holding them accountable to their agreements and working with them to plan and meet their deliverables. Help create and maintain the project site logistics plan. Coordinate material deliveries and movement of equipment on the site to ensure safe and efficient work. Ensure a complete and accurate set of as-builts is maintained. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Possess the skills to manage major sub-contractors (trades) in the field of a large commercial construction project, including trade coordination, creating and enforcing schedules, safety, quality control, site logistics planning, and knowledge of related building codes. Requires strong leadership, interpersonal, conflict resolution, verbal and written communication skills. Share in the company's unwavering commitment to being Incident and Injury Free. Knowledgeable of OSHA requirements, and current OSHA 10-hour certification. General understanding of safe rigging and hoisting practices. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard construction software applications including Primavera 6 and construction documentation management systems (i.e. Procore, ProLog, PlanGrid or others). Base Salary Range: $146,000 - $185,000 The above salary range represents Lendlease’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is one part of the total rewards Lendlease provides to employees.
