JOB SUMMARY: The SVP of Infrastructure Operations will oversee the management, maintenance, and enhancement of our corporate IT assets, ensuring their reliability, security, and scalability. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, technical expertise, and a strategic mindset to drive innovation and efficiency across our infrastructure operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategies to optimize our IT infrastructure operations, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our corporate IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud platforms.
  • Maintenance and Upgrades: Plan and execute maintenance activities, upgrades, and migrations to ensure the stability and performance of our IT systems.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect our infrastructure from cyber threats and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Assist GRC in answering security and IT related audits from vendors and auditing firms for certifications such as SOC and SOX etc.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Assist and give experienced advice to the DevOps and Platform Ops teams as needed, i.e. advice about modern SaaS architecture choices, processes and other activities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) responsible for monitoring production systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing automation solutions.
  • Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response protocols to address production issues promptly and minimize downtime.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve the performance and scalability of our infrastructure through proactive monitoring, tuning, and optimization efforts.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the infrastructure operations budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other IT teams, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to support their initiatives and ensure alignment with infrastructure requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing IT infrastructure operations in a complex environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in network architecture, server administration, virtualization, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience leading and managing teams, with a focus on fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Proven ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving strategic initiatives, delivering results, and managing budgets effectively.

This role is in-office. Remote work may be performed from a pre-approved location, as arranged, and scheduled by team management and approved by department leadership.
