Lending is Hiring a Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer Near Kennesaw, GA

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for playing a key part in designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network and infrastructure solutions. Leveraging your expertise, you will lead projects, provide technical guidance, and contribute to the overall efficiency and security of the IT environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Design, implement, and maintain network solutions, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Lead network architecture projects and provide expertise in the selection and deployment of networking technologies.
  • Manage and optimize server infrastructure, storage systems, and virtualization environments.
  • Implement and maintain hardware and software solutions for servers and data center operations.
  • Implement and enforce security measures across the network and infrastructure components.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices, such as data privacy regulations and cybersecurity standards.
  • Lead the resolution of complex network and infrastructure issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage Active Directory and Azure platforms.
  • Manage Office 365 mail flow and transport rules
  • Provide third-level support and mentorship to junior engineers for problem-solving.
  • Monitor and analyze network and infrastructure capacity, planning for future growth and performance optimization.
  • Recommend and implement upgrades to hardware and software as needed.
  • Lead and manage network and infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful project delivery within established timelines and budgets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for network and infrastructure configurations, procedures, and protocols.
  • Create and update technical documentation, including network diagrams and topology layouts.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in network and infrastructure operations.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to Infrastructure development projects, such as technical challenges, resource constraints, and changes in business requirements.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the Infrastructure team, fostering innovation, learning, and professional development.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a senior network or infrastructure engineer.
  • Expertise in network protocols, technologies, and security measures.
  • Expertise in Fortinet and Cisco products
  • In-depth knowledge of server infrastructure, storage systems, and virtualization.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert - CCIE, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the logistics duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moderate noises such as computers, printers, and other light traffic noise in an office setting.

This role is in-office. Remote work may be performed from a pre-approved location, as arranged, and scheduled by team management and approved by department leadership.
