Lenape Valley Foundation is Hiring a PRN Therapist for an Acute Partial Hospital Program Near DOYLESTOWN, PA

We are seeking PRN Therapists to join our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Lenape Valley Foundation’s PHP Program provides a full day therapeutic experience that runs for 2-3 weeks. It is designed for individuals who experience acute psychiatric symptomology.

What You Offer: 

  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years minimum experience.
  • Experience in leading therapeutic treatment modalities, appropriate to an acute PHP setting
  • Understanding of psychopathology, psychodynamics, and appropriate therapeutic interventions for psychiatric diagnosis
  • Ability to manage a patient’s acute needs and crisis situations
  • Competence in clinical documentation with awareness of regulations
  • Ability to initiate, as well as to cooperate with therapists, staff and supervisory relationships
  • Possess the ability to perform the physical requirements of the service contract, with or without accommodation.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Provide appropriate acute PHP clinical services
  • Document each client’s treatment, contacts and missed appointments within current regulations
  • Facilitate group sessions
  • Initiate 1:1 and family sessions with new clients, continue to provide throughout client’s length of stay
  • Complete intakes for new clients and scheduled, update evaluations and assessments as needed
  • Provided crisis prevention and intervention
  • Participate in on-going trainings/seminars
  • Coordinate and support on site medical client care with program psychiatrist, nurse and other staff members as needed
  • Attend treatment team meetings and provide valuable input on each client on caseload
