What you'll do:
As the Fleet Supervisor you'll develop and sustain a high performing team of engaged, safe, happy, trained employees who live our values, and are great at their jobs. You'll follow, improve and help develop core processes that support the delivering of our high-quality plants and flowers that delight our customers and drive the achievement of LBR business goals with our CDL fleet.

Lead a productive, safe and effective team of delivery drivers

  • Provide positive coaching, encouragement and support to the team
  • Provide and communicate expectations and direction on delivery standards
  • Update and hold the team accountable to following all processes
  • Regularly review, improve, and clearly communicate processes
  • Recognize performance gaps and act with urgency and consistency
  • Ensure team has the training, tools, resources, and support needed
  • Calculate and align staffing and schedule with weekly demand
  • Complete and deliver quarterly performance reviews
  • Accurately and timely fill out root cause analysis reports, injury, and incident reports

Create and sustain processes that always make Safety First

  • Accurately and timely fill out root cause analysis reports, injury, and incident reports
  • Create, deliver and sustain safety training for delivery drivers and onsite movers.
  • Manage and track all DOT compliance for all drivers.
  • Participates on the LBR Safety Committee.
  • Drives prevention of injuries on the team; Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly

When you'll work:Monday-Friday 6am-3pm
Job Skills Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills:
  • Strong computer skills required (good operating knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, and Excel)
  • Attention to detail. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
  • High level of organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize
  • Strong ability to problem solve
  • Excellent at verbal and written communication
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Flexible to work overtime, adjusted hours, and occasional weekends
  • DOT medical card and pass DOT drug test

Education Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree desirable

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory or relevant leadership experience required.
  • CDL fleet experience and knowledge of EOS, Lean, and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
