Basic Lube Tire Technician Job Description
We’re seeking a skilled primary lube tire technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide our clients with top-tier automotive maintenance and repair services. Your main task will be to keep our clients’ cars lubricated and repair and replace tires.
To achieve this, you must be capable of using various automotive tools, products, and maintenance techniques. Be responsible for sales, service and maintenance of tires/batteries as well. You should also be capable of identifying problems in vehicles and recommending them to the service writer. You’ll work as part of our broader team but will often be responsible for completing tasks independently and recommending needed work.
We prefer to hire a candidate with previous automotive industry experience. It would be even better if you’ve completed some formal training in a related field. Prefer Basic and Brakes ASE Certification. If you don't have will be required within 6 months.

- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks on vehicles
- Inspect vehicles for any additional service needs
- Complete vehicle service reports accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area a must
- Assist other technicians with more complex repairs as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Lube Technician or similar role preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching
- Proficient in using hand tools and other equipment necessary for vehicle maintenance
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment
