Your Job

    • Make and repair dental appliances with an emphasis on quality, margins, consistent contacts, occlusions, and custom shades according to the Rx from the dentist.
    • Review each Rx in detail; inspect all work entering and leaving the lab to ensure all quality.
    • standards and client requests are being met.
    • Communicate daily with department manager about any defects or issues related to quality specifications and/or internal and external client requests or requirements.
    • Utilize PTC methods and company quality and work instructions.

      Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
      • Meet daily unit target
      • Verify completion and accuracy of work
      • Work closely with internal clients tounderstand their requirements, and ensure that all requirements are being met
      • Finish- finish the metal or zirconia products and make ready for the opaque, build and ceramic processes; add anatomy to finished metal
      • Polish- polish and make ready all products for final inspection

        Skills and Qualifications
      • Experience in a similar field, or experience in fine detail crafts working, modeling, or ceramics.
      • Knowledge of dental anatomy a plus.
      • Excellent hand-eye coordination
      • Tech I- Someone with little dental lab knowledge and experience

        Preferred Qualifications
      • Knowledge of PTC methods and procedures
      • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once while maintaining quality work
      • Tech II- someone who has earned multiple operations or has mastered their position
      • Tech Ill- someone who has learned many/all operations and has mastered at least one

Location:

Our network of dental laboratories spans seven states, with labs in Florida, Connecticut, Maryland, Mississippi, Rhode Island, Texas, and New York. The Leixir Home Office is in Tampa, Florida.


Interview Process

As a part of our commitment to creating a fair, equitable, and positive interview experience for all candidates, we offer full transparency of our interview stages to give applicants an idea of the time and effort involved.

  • Information Screening: The Talent Manager will have a 20-to-30-minute phone conversation focused on relevant work experience, compensation, role overview, and answering any questions you may have.
  • Panel Interview: 60-minute interview with two to three key members of the team. This will take place at the lab and will dive deeper into the role, technical knowledge, and requirements of the position. The candidate will have the opportunity to meet the team, tour the workplace, and gain a better understanding of the job’s functions.
  • Offer: The Talent Manager will reach out with the details of the informal offer for discussion. After all the details of the informal offer are finalized, the formal offer letter and job description will be sent.
