Our team is looking for a Maintenance Technician/Painter experienced with general maintenance, repairs, and industrial painting to help maintain our facility which brings joy to families by delivering our world class pools and spas. This position will be based out of our Marion, South Carolina Distribution Center.

As a Maintenance Technician/Painter with Explore Industries, to start with we’ll provide you with the necessary tools to be successful… pressure washer, sprayer, tools, equipment and supplies! The Maintenance Technician/Painter’s initial task will be to pressure wash and prepare the facilities for an exciting new color scheme on all outside buildings. Once the facility make-over is complete, this this position will perform general maintenance duties.

Overall, a Maintenance Technician/Painter will be responsible for prepping and painting the buildings on the property, and general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. To do well in this role you should have previous experience with industrial painting and in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints and repair manuals.

Additionally, there are other essential responsibilities of an experienced Maintenance Technician/Painter role which include, but are not limited to:

• Experience performing industrial painting operations, including operation of paint sprayer and lift equipment
• Proven maintenance experience
• Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts
• Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills and wrenches
• Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices
• Experience performing routine maintenance
• Knowledge of plumbing, pneumatics, and hydraulics to include all types of pumps
