Leidos is seeking an Integrated Logistics Support ( ILS ) Manager to promote the design, development, testing, and qualification of a United States Army mobile, ground-based weapon system designed to defeat subsonic cruise missiles, unmanned aircraft systems, rockets, artillery, and mortars, and other aerial threats as needed. This position will be located in Huntsville, Al with travel expected at approximately 10%.

Your Main Mission:
The successful candidate will work with and manage a small team of ILS professionals as an embedded part of the overall system design, development, and integration process to define support requirements, plan for life cycle sustainment, and produce ILS products in accordance with United States Army regulations. As a working lead, the ILS Manager will guide and direct the efforts of the team while developing products for submission to the client.
Daily duties and/or specific job responsibilities:
  • As part of a multi-functional, matrixed team, this ILS Manager will be responsible for facilitating the development of logistics support, plans, product support analyses, product support data, and logistics product data summaries.
  • The ILS Manager will facilitate the development and submission of military standard-compliant technical manuals and detailed training plans and programs in support of limited fielding and test events.
  • The ILS Manager will lead the ILS team through test planning and execution, verification, and validation events as required
  • Will develop in-process review briefings, review; comment on, and develop logistics related documents, plans and report; draft technical papers; focus and guide project teams; monitor cost and schedule of projects; participate in project evaluations; respond to customer inquiries; and verify product technical quality.
  • Will report to Leidos Program Manager while providing direct support to Dynetics leadership on all technical logistics efforts, integration .
  • As a team lead, will conduct hiring actions, establish employee goals and objectives, monitor performance, and facilitate employee recognition activities and incentive programs.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Bachelor 's Degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience ; or a Master 's Degree and 10 year of prior relevant experience
  • Must be able to obtain an interim Secret Clearance within 120 days of hiring.
  • 4 years of experience supervising or leading teams and/or projects.
  • Direct experience providing ILS for military acquisition programs and programs of record.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working within matrixed teams.
You Might Also Have:
  • Familiarity with the development of mil-spec technical documentation to include interactive electronic technical manuals.
  • Familiarity with the Systems Approach to Training method for training development and implementation.
  • Excellent written communication skill
  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings
  • Ability to perform logistics analyses for DoD programs.
  • DoD Systems Acquisition and Development Experience
  • PMP or DoD Acquisition Certification
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Knowledgeable of the following Standards: IPS , DA Pam 700-127, ILS , AR 700-127, PSA , TA - STD -0017 or MIL - HDBK -502, FAR , GEIA -0007C or MIL - STD -1388, MIL - STD -963
  • Experience with CDRL and SDRL development.
  • Experience with SOW and System Performance Specification Development
Clearance Required:
  • Must be able to obtain an interim Secret Clearance within 120 days of hiring.

Pay Range: Pay Range $98,150.00 - $177,425.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
