The Company and the Role:
Heidelberg Materials is North America’s leading supplier of cement, aggregates, ready-mix concrete, and asphalt. We are seeking a Financial Analyst that will reside in Indianapolis, IN.
What you’ll get to do:
• Assist with monthly financial / capital reporting requirements and analyses of regional financial results
• Support the development of annual budget and periodic forecasts
• Engage in the preparation of capital process including financial modeling, spend tracking, and variance analysis
• Assist with the development of presentations to support management decisions and management review of operational and sales targets
• Support activities of operations and sales management
• Work closely with Shared Service organizations and Corporate Accounting ensuring efficient and effective financial processes in compliance with policies and reporting requirements
• Participate in special studies, analyses, and ad-hoc requests in support of region operations
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures
Essential Experience and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, a or related field required
• Five to ten years of experience
• Ability to use Microsoft office software products; advanced or intermediate level preferred
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to details
• Demonstrated openness to change, flexibility, and adaptability
• A proven track record in meeting deadlines and working collaboratively as part of a team
• Knowledge of SAP software a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
 
Work Environment:
• This position works in an office setting. The company currently offers a hybrid working schedule (home/office) upon completion of training.
