Lehi Montessori is a Pre-K-6th private school. The Lehi Montessori building was established in 1991 as a place of learning. Our school sits on a beautiful acre property tucked away in the Lehi farming community. It is our mission, through the Montessori method, to meet the individual needs of all our students. We are committed to helping children develop leadership skills, self-discipline, responsibility, independence, and a love of learning. Our school operates Monday through Thursday from 8:30am - 3:30pm observing all major holidays. School is in session from August to May with breaks in October and March. Job Description

• Guide is expected to be on campus Monday - Thursday from 8:00am - 4:00pm
• Base pay is $34,000 (pay negotiable based on years of experience)
• Develop lesson plans and manage the learning experiences for students to ensure the needs of the groups and individual students are met.
• Assists students toward self-directed learning.
• Maintains a neat, well organized, and attractive prepared environment consistent with Montessori pedagogy.

Qualifications

• Montessori elementary diploma or Montessori early childhood diploma and willingness to complete lower elementary certification within two years of employment (paid for by school).
• Current Arizona fingerprint clearance card.
• Previous experience teaching in a Montessori setting
• Experience collaborating and working as a teacher
• Enthusiasm and commitment to our vision and mission

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor‘s degree
• Additional experience/training in special education, music, art, and/or physical education is a plus
