E Shift Coach
Leggett & Platt, Incorporated is seeking to hire an Evening / Night Shift Supervisor (Coach)to lead production activities at our Spring plant in Monroe, Georgia.
This position will work E shift on a 10 hour, four day schedule with 3 day weekends every week. (Occasionally some Friday’s will be needed) We are looking to hire a Production Department Supervisor with proven experience in manufacturing and the ability to coach and develop a successful team.
What you’ll do
- Lead production employees to ensure job duties are performed safely and effectively
- Conduct safety meetings
- Complete reporting and scheduling duties
- Ensure safety, environmental and quality compliance
- Facilitate open communication to keep production efficiency.
- Maintain accurate attendance and payroll records.
- Responsible for developing a strong team environment
- Manage turnover
- Ensure quality to minimize scrap and rework
- Initiate corrective and preventive action when necessary
- Identify, record and report problems relating to the product, process and quality
Minimum qualifications
- 2-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse workforce in both an office and manufacturing environment
- Must be detail oriented and well organized
- Possess the ability to motivate others and cultivate teamwork
- Ability to multitask
- Experience with Safety, Quality Systems and Continuous Improvement preferred
