JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for reviewing all audits. Assists the Revenue Auditors in completing their audits by answering questions, researching audit issues and training staff. Assists the Revenue Audit Manager and Revenue Audit Supervisor in ensuring the operations of Revenue Audit are in compliance with the Tribal Ordinances, State Compact, TICS, SICS, NIGC and policies and procedures.

- Reviews audits on a daily basis to ensure audits are fully completed and documented, audit checklists and/or review checklists are completed, audits review and corrections made, exception reports issued for Revenue Audit staff and other departments and properly filed.
- Assists Revenue Auditors in solving audit and task issues/problems that arise.
- Assists Revenue Audit Manager or Revenue Audit Supervisor in ensuring Revenue Audit is in compliance with internal controls and policies and procedures.
- Assists Revenue Audit Manager or Revenue Audit Supervisor in coordination of Revenue Auditor training and cross-training on all audits and tasks.
- Assists Revenue Audit Manager or Revenue Audit Supervisor to ensure proper coordination, scheduling, and rotation of Revenue Auditors to effectively complete duties and insure adequate coverage of tasks/audits on a seven day a week basis.
- Assists Revenue Audit Manager or Revenue Audit Supervisor in ensuring Revenue Auditors maintain compliance with any deadlines required in completing their audits.
- Inputs and uploads daily revenue journal entries to excel.
- Prepares special reports, researches audit issues/concerns, and assists in finding requested documentation as needed by Casino management, Tribal Gaming auditors, and/or State auditors.
- Communicates to Revenue Audit management issues/concerns and recommendations for improvement.
- Must have thorough knowledge of all audits and tasks performed by the Revenue Auditors.
- Complies with SICS and policies and procedures.
- Builds relationships inside and outside of their department / team to improve ways of working and provide a great guest experience.
- Models for the team, a strong work ethic and is visible, available and present for the guest and their team.
- Identifies ways to improve workflows and processes to work smarter and increase efficiency.
- Moves the situation quickly toward resolution by efficiently managing and controlling the circumstances.
- Explains the “why” behind the resolution or action for the guest.
- Pays attention to detail and conducts thorough research to make the best decision for the guest and the business.
- Makes judgment calls based on understanding Legends Casinos’ Purpose, Values and Objectives while utilizing research, knowledge, and experience.
- Proactively shares guest feedback with executive management and peers in the spirit of continuous improvement.
- Seeks to share and improve processes and workflows based on guest feedback.
- Finds ways to make good use of their strengths and talents.
- Work schedule includes weekends and holidays.

LICENSE REQUIRED: Must obtain and hold a Class III gaming license while employed and complete an annual background check with TGA.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR POSITION: HS Diploma or GED Required. Associates Degree in finance or accounting preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Manual dexterity for operation of personal computer, calculator, and routine paperwork. Ability to sit for extended length of time. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR POSITION: Strong accounting and audit experience. 3 years experience in Casino Revenue Audit highly desirable. Able to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts. Excellent math skills required. Ability to train and direct staff. Knowledge of Word and excellent Excel skills necessary. Ability to perform detailed review of audit documents.
