Job Title: Branch Operations Specialist

Summary/Purpose:

The Branch Operations Specialist is responsible for reviewing all New Accounts, Closed Accounts, and Account Maintenances completed by branch staff. The Branch Operations Specialist partners with Branch Operations Administrator and Personal Banker Trainers to communicate additional training needs for branch staff to keep branches compliant an operationally sound.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Retrieves Daily reports for open, closed and maintenance accounts for all deposit accounts to include Safe Deposit boxes.
• Records and maintains all logs for Branch Operations to include but not limited to New Account log, Closed Account log and Account maintenance log
• Maintains a thorough knowledge of banks CIP policy and requirements to open accounts to include business documentation
• Reviews all New Account paperwork, documentation, and core system to verify opened correct and complete per Legends Bank’s policy and procedures
• Reviews all Closed Accounts for completion to limit bank risk
• Reviews all Account Maintenances for updated documentation and accuracy
• Complies communication to branch staff weekly regarding New Account corrections Closed Account corrections, Maintenance corrections and missing documentation.
• Communicates with Branch Operations team to suggest additional Training needs for branch staff from review of account opening, closing and maintenance.
• Prepares, maintains, and updates any necessary reports for the department.
• Performs other clerical tasks such as filing, typing, scanning, indexing and operating other office machines.

  EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or equivalent and six months experience as a Personal Banker. Prefer One years’ experience as Personal Banker with account opening to include Business accounts and prior experience in Branch Operations.

  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

• Strong multi-tasking skills with great attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient computer and software skills using, ten key, Word, Excel and other bank software as needed for position.
• Proactive and self-directed with the ability to prioritize.
