WE BUILD PREMIUM ALUMINUM TRAILERS BECAUSE LEGENDS ARE MEANT TO LAST!

This position will work within teams to weld aluminum and steel enclosed and aluminum open trailer frames.

• GTAW-AL (TIG) components in all positions
• GMAW-AL (MIG) components in all positions
• Follows all pre-established installation and quality methods, procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency of work
• Reads order-specific job travelers and / or engineered drawings to ensure each order is produced to specifications
• Completes all job duties within given time constraints
• Cross-trains between several different jobs
• Cleans and maintains work area
• Pursues continuous improvement to improve efficiency of job duties and workflow
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

• High school diploma or GED
• Proficient with GTAW-AL(TIG Aluminum) / GMAW-AL (MIG Aluminum)
• Previous welding experience
• Attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Needs good visual judgment to notice errors and / or defects
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Solid job history including more than 1 year at previous or recent employer.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Willingness to participate in welding tests to showcase your capabilities.
• Must be physically capable of safely lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. with or without an accommodation
• Requires wearing personal protective equipment
• Requires ability to hear and respond to radio communications
• Requires visual acuity for accurately receiving parts
• Prolonged periods standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting
