The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Knowledge of shipping and transportation; both domestic and international.
- Proven experience in transportation, shipping and/or logistics coordination.
- Intermediate to advanced computer experience in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and ERP systems, MS D365 a plus.
- Ability to work independently or with a team and take initiative without immediate supervision.
- Able to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events and work well under pressure and manage competing demands.
- Ability to be at work consistently and on time.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-3 years of previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred.
- Industry experience in manufacturing preferred.
- Experience in international trade is a plus.
- Hazmat knowledge is preferred.
- Prior forklift experience; or the ability to learn forklift operations.
